Want free chow? Dress like a cow.
Scoring choice Chik-Fil-A grub on the house today, July 14, lionized as “Cow Appreciation Day,” by the fast-food chain, is as easy as sporting spots and strapping on utters.
From 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, Chik-Fil-A, symbolized by a beloved bovine that encourages foodies to “Eat Mor Chikin,” is serving up complimentary breakfast biscuits, chicken sandwiches, nuggets and select kids meals to guests wearing cow-themed attire while supplies last.
The company is bringing back its buzzy cow-inspired shindig for the first time since 2019 in honor of its 80th birthday. The fête has been on hiatus since the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic.
But now, chicken chowhounds can resume milking the hotspot’s holiday for all it’s worth.
“Cow Appreciation Day is one of our favorite celebrations, where we invite customers to bring the whole herd to their nearest participating Chick-fil-A restaurant dressed like a cow for a free entrée,” representatives for the restaurant revealed in a release.
But eaters hoping to take advantage of the deal will have to get a moo-ve on.
“Unfortunately, digital ordering is not valid for Cow Appreciation Day,” the company explained. “This offer is only valid for those who are physically present at the restaurant. You can claim and redeem your free entrée via Dine-in, Carry-out or the Drive-Thru.”
Customers cloaked in cow couture can receive one free entrée from the following list:
- Breakfast: Chick-fil-A® Chicken Biscuit (Original) or 4-count Chick-n-Minis®.
- Lunch/Dinner: Chick-fil-A® Chicken Sandwich (Original or Spicy); 8-count Nuggets (Original or Grilled); or 3-count Chick-n-Strips™.
- Kids: A select entrée and kids prize will be available for kids 12 and under, while supplies last. Check with your local Restaurant to confirm specific offerings.
