A Bloods gang barbecue in a popular Long Island park sparked the deadly Wednesday shooting that left a 15-year-old boy dead and two others wounded, law enforcement sources told The Post.
The gunfight at Eisenhower Park erupted around 8:30 p.m., as gangbangers gathered for a cookout that descended in deadly violence when two of the reputed thugs got into a scuffle – and pulled out their guns, law enforcement sources told The Post.
Two people were taken into custody.
Police have not released the names of the victims or the individuals taken into custody.
According to the sources, the barbecue included Bloods gang members from the Bronx and Suffolk County, but further details were not immediately available.
Police did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
