Indiana Fever All-Star guard Caitlin Clark is used to generating headlines on the floor, but she can also make headlines from the baseline.
Clark photographed the Los Angeles Lakers’ game against the Indiana Pacers at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on March 25. She mostly trained her lens on LeBron James, who has become a mentor to her, and posted a collection of photos entitled “The King.”
There’s more where that came from, apparently.
On Monday, Clark participated in the Fever’s “The Puppy Room Interview,” which was exactly what it sounds like. Clark answered a series of questions while cuddling five puppies plopped on her lap. She was asked what she did over the offseason and revealed an ambitious non-basketball goal.
“A little bit of golf, until it got cold here,” Clark, the 2024 No. 1 overall pick, said, in part. “I wish I’d played more. I’m getting into photography a little bit. I now have collected three cameras. I got to shoot LeBron, got to check that off the bucket list. I got to go to The Masters, so my next goal is to, hopefully, be able to shoot The Masters. Maybe next year, I could shoot a day of The Masters. I think that would be pretty cool.”
Clark could check off winning her first WNBA championship before the next Masters rolls around.
The Fever reached the WNBA semifinals last season without Clark, who only played 13 games due to nagging injuries. They lost to the Las Vegas Aces, the eventual champions, in five games. If Clark, All-WNBA center/forward Aliyah Boston, and All-Star guard Kelsey Mitchell can all stay healthy this season, the Fever figure to be a problem.
Through the first four games of the 2026 WNBA season, Clark is averaging 24.3 points, nine assists, and five rebounds for the 2-2 Fever.
