Today, April 15, is Tax Day, and after all that time and energy spent filing taxes, you might want to treat yourself.
Luckily, there are plenty of food deals and freebies available to get your hands on.
File your taxes then head to one of these restaurants for extra savings this tax season. Here are the deals to look out for.
7-Eleven
On April 15, 7-Eleven is offering customers an opportunity for extra savings. When ordering through the 7NOW Delivery app, customers can save $10.40 on any order of $25 or more with the code “WRITEOFF.”
BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse
After dealing with all that tax stress, treat yourself to a Pizookie or some deep dish pizza. On April 15, enjoy $10 off a purchase of $40 at BJ’s, available for dine-in and take out.
California Tortilla
On Tax Day, California Tortilla is bringing back its fan-favorite “Government Cheese” tradition, giving any customer who makes any purchase a free small chips and queso — or chips and salsa for those who aren’t cheesy.
To claim the deal, mention the secret password, “Government Cheese,” at checkout when ordering in-store, or enter the code “GOVCHEESE” online and in the app.
Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop
Capriotti’s is offering a “tax break” for those who need something to eat while filing. Rewards Members can get a free combo upgrade, which includes chips and a fountain drink, with the purchase of any sub on April 15. To redeem, scan the app in-store or apply the reward to the order online or in the app.
Church’s Texas Chicken
For one day only, Church’s Texas Chicken is helping taxpayers get through with an 8-piece leg and thigh order for just $4.99. The offer is available only to Real Rewards members who were signed up prior to April 15, and it can be redeemed through the mobile app, online or in-restaurant after checking in with the in-app QR code.
Del Taco
To get through Tax Day, Del Taco is offering can get a lineup of deals, including a free Snack Taco with a $5 purchase, buy one, get one free Beer Battered Crispy Fish Tacos and $1 Grilled Chicken Taco.
The offer is available for Del Yeah! Rewards members from April 15 through April 21.
Dickey’s Barbecue Pit
Is this a write off? Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is offering $10 off orders of $50 or more on April 15 with the code “WRITEOFF.” The deal is exclusively available online and on the Dickey’s app at all locations nationwide.
Dog Haus
After you file your taxes, you can claim a “Tots Return” at Dog Haus. On Tax Day, Haus Rewards members can get free tots with a $5 purchase.
Fazoli’s
Double up on comfort food while filing your taxes with BOGO Baked Spagetti at participating Fazoli’s locations on April 15. The deal is valid only to rewards members, and people can sign up online or through the Fazoli’s Rewards app.
Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers
This Tax Day, guests with the Freddy’s Rewards app will receive 250 bonus points with any purchase. The points can be redeemed on a future Freddy’s order via drive-thru, in-restaurant dining, pickup or delivery.
Goldfish
Goldfish is celebrating Tax Day with a take on what people on the internet have dubbed the “parent tax,” that swipe of a handful of Goldfish that “mysteriously disappears” from your child’s snack.
Now, starting at 4:15 p.m. ET on April 15, parents can “file” their return at GoldfishParentTax.com by answering a few quick questions. If eligible, they’ll snag a delicious refund consisting of two free bags of Goldfish crackers, while supplies last.
“This Tax Day, we’re giving parents a chance to come clean about those moments when a few Goldfish ‘mysteriously disappear,’ ” Mike Fanelli, Senior Director at Goldfish, said in a statement. “The Goldfish Parent Tax Return turns that everyday habit into a fun, shareable moment — and a reminder that Goldfish is the snack that kids love and parents love to sneak.”
Great American Cookies
Sweeten up Tax Day by heading to Great American Cookies to buy one Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake Slice and get one free. The offer is valid for rewards members in-store only on April 15.
Grubhub
Grubhub is helping customers ease their “taxiety” with their Grubhub Free Return, giving back $100,000 in Grubhub credit to diners who paid fees on food delivery apps in 2025. Through April 15, diners can go to GrubhubFeeReturn.com and upload a 2025 receipt with delivery and/or service fees from any food delivery app for the chance to get $20 in Grubhub credit.
Additionally, Grubhub is offering $10.40 off $50+ orders from Sweetgreen, Krispy Kreme and Chili’s. New Grubhub diners can get $10 off their first $50+ restaurant order with the code “FEERETURN10.”
Huddle House
Huddle House is turning Tax Day into a reward. Huddle Rewards members will earn Double Points on every purchase. Simply log into the app or give your account information at checkout to claim the offer, valid for dine-in or pick-up.
Additionally, rewards members can take advantage of the Free Waffle Wednesday deal, which lines up with Tax Day on April 15. Reward members can enjoy a free waffle with any purchase of $8 or more.
Jersey Mike’s
Jersey Mike’s new Boardwalk Bundle launched just in time for Tax Day. Starting at $10.99, a nod to the tax form, the Boardwalk Bundle features a regular #2 Jersey Shore’s Favorite sub, chips, and a drink.
QDOBA
Tax Day often brings up extra charges that have added up, and one of the most frustrating offenders is paying extra for guac, which is why QDOBA is launching their Tax Day Guac Relief. QDOBA Rewards Members can “file” for Tax Day Guac Relief by taking a quick survey through April 15 about a time they had to pay extra for guac on an entrée elsewhere.
The survey will allow rewards members to unlock a $5 reward to use toward any full-sized entrée purchase. The reward will automatically be deposited into your Rewards wallet on Monday, April 20, and can be used through Sunday, April 26.
Maple Street Biscuit Company
On Tax Day, fans can stop by Maple Street Biscuit Company for Bonus Bonuts, a biscuit-donut hybrid. Customers who dine and show proof of the promotion — such as a screenshot of an article, a social post, the email or anything indicating they’re aware of the promotion — will get three free bonuts on April 15.
Mountain Mike’s Pizza
Mountain Rewards members can get receive $10 off a minimum purchase of $40 on April 15.
Nothing Bundt Cakes
Bundtastic Rewards members can make Tax Day a little sweeter by treating themselves to any cake at Nothing Bundt Cakes and earning 50 bonus points. Valid on April 15 only, it’s a good opportunity to try the brand’s limited-time Strawberry Cheesecake Swirl flavor.
The offer is limited to one transaction, and members must be logged into their account prior to making the purchase. Bonus points will be loaded on or around May 1.
Olive Garden
Olive Garden is providing a little relief this Tax Day with the return of Buy One, Take One, at the same inflation-proof price as last year, starting at $14.99. Until May 3, guests can order an entrée, plus never-ending soup or salad and freshly baked breadsticks, and get a second heat-at-home entrée.
First entrée selections include the new Rigatoni alla Vodka, Spaghetti with Meat Sauce, Four-Cheese Manicotti, Fettucine Alfredo (+$3), Five-Cheese Ziti al Forno (+$4), Lasagna Classico (+$4) or Chicken Parmigiana (+$7). Paris Baguette
PB Rewards members can take advantage of Paris Baguette’s Tax Day offer on April 15 and snag a free pastry with any beverage purchase.
Pizza Hut
Pizza lovers can snag a large three-topping pizza starting at just $10 on April 15. Guests will get a choice of one of three iconic crust options — the new and improved Hand Tossed, Tavern Style, or Thin ‘N Crispy. To claim the deal, go to your local Pizza Hut or order online or through the app.
Portillo’s
Treat yourself to something sweet this Tax Day. Portillo’s Perks members can get any slice of cake for just $1 with any purchase of $5 or more.
Popeyes
Popeyes is turning number crunching into chicken crunching this Tax Day by offering 25% off the 3-Piece Tenders Combo, which includes three tenders, one regular side, one biscuit and one regular drink. The offer is available on the Popeyes App or Popeyes.com.
Plus, customers who join the Popeyes Loyalty Program will unlock an additional offer that can be paid by Cash App. Loyalty members can snag a free Chicken Sandwich, 2-Piece Signature Chicken, 3-Piece Tenders, fried pickles or 6-Piece Wings with their first digital purchase of $10 or more. The deal must be paid via Cash App Pay on Popeyes.com and in the Popeyes app.
Round Table Pizza
After crunching numbers, get yourself a well-deserved pizza. From April 15 through April 19, guests can get 15% off all orders at Round Table Pizza with the code “RTP978.” The offer is valid for dine-in, carryout or delivery at participating locations.

On April 15, Smoothie King is helping taxpayers power through by offering $3 off when you join Healthy Rewards. Simply download the Smoothie King app to enjoy.

Sonny’s BBQ is offering customers a 1099 they’ll actually enjoy this Tax Day. On April 15, Sonny’s is offering the St. Louis Rib Dinner — sweet and smokey or house dry-rubbed ribs, served with BBQ beans, coleslaw and garlic bread — for just $10.99, available all day for dine-in, takeout, drive-thru and online ordering.
Stonefire Grill
