Massive works of art are appearing in the sand along one Bay Area beach, all created by a single artist who gets to work while most people are going to bed.
Brighton Denevan, 34, starts working on his intricate designs around 11 p.m.
On a recent Tuesday night, Denevan arrived at Keller Beach in Point Richmond with a metal shrub rake in hand and started drawing in the sand, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.
He worked until sunrise the next morning, putting the finishing touches on his creation and racing to complete it before high tide washed his work away.
