A 24-year-old man died after being shot in the head multiple times outside of a Bronx building Sunday night — and the gunman remains on the lam, according to authorities.

Police responded to a 911 call around 8 p.m. for an assault happening in front of a building on West 174th Street in Morris Heights, according to the NYPD.

When officers arrived, they discovered an unidentified 24-year-old who was unconscious with multiple gunshot wounds to his head, cops said.

The victim was taken to Bronx Care Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made yet, police said.

Officers at the crime scene appeared to be shining flashlights and taking snapshots of possible evidence later Sunday night.

The investigation remains active and ongoing, authorities added.
