Cue the chaos, baby.

A full moon lunar eclipse in Pisces is upon us.

On the evening of September 7 into the wee hours of September 8, we’ll be under the spell of a lunar eclipse in the sign of dissolution.

A total lunar eclipse occurs when the moon moves into Earth’s inner shadow, and some of the sunlight passing through Earth dimly lights the moon as a result.

This is one of the most powerful moments of the year, where dramatic shifts are nigh and we are thrown into the collective emotional storm drain, tumbled and torn, only to emerge dazed, bleary-eyed and slack-jawed in the wake of something blindingly new and wholly unexpected.

Add to said drain that Jupiter in Cancer will be emphasizing themes of security and purpose, while Saturn, currently retrograding in Pisces, will amplify issues related to commitments and long-term responsibilities.

“Shake-ups are inevitable: emotional patterns will collapse, career paths could veer off course, and the commitments we thought were unshakable may suddenly demand a reckoning,” certified astrologer Rachel Ruth Tate from Casinos Analyzer told The Post.

Below, Tate shares the six ways the eclipse may upend and recast our lives.

Emotional instability

“Expect major disruptions to established emotional patterns and personally held beliefs as the moon is completely eclipsed near the north node in mid-Pisces,” said Tate.

Be on the lookout for feelings of disorientation, wild mood swings and sudden emotional outbursts from yourself and/or others.

Breakups and life resets

“Total eclipses near the north node bring about a strong desire for change and yearning for evolution within the established social order — our relationships and our career paths included,” shared Tate.

She noted that the influence of this eclipse supports a strong desire to feel provisioned and secure, making us painfully aware of relationships and careers that feel deficient in either regard.

 Loud exits

Tate predicts that as this lunation calls us toward our higher purpose, people who feel trapped in meaningless or mundane work could suddenly quit or pivot.

“How are you contributing to your community? Does your impact reflect your truly held priorities? Where is there room to reach higher?”

If your job is a joy kill and a spirit crusher, now is the hour for exiting.

Marriages, contracts and promises face a breaking point

“This full moon begs for deep listening, to ourselves as the passionate voices around us. Listen for the why behind what is said or offered,” said Tate.

Due to the influence of Saturn in Pisces on this moon, she shared that, “Devotion and the nature of our commitments will change, with long-term implications to both ourselves and the groups we are a part of.”

How will this play out in real time? “Divorces, contract renegotiations or broken promises could surface.”

Hidden truths and shocking signs will surface

“Pay great attention to synchronicities, opportunities, and the still small voice that speaks inside for more useful information during this time,” advised Tate.

As Pisces is a water sign without boundaries, the currents of change are bound to sweep us up, pull us down, and spit us out a little further down the banks of the river of life. Think spilled secrets, fated meeting, curious synchronicities and acute psychic sensitivity.

“Seize each chance to move towards what feels like your higher good, and remember that your real highest good is also that which is to the highest benefit of all.”

Layoffs and demotions could sting

Pisces is the sign of letting go, and in kind, Tate advises all signs to cease chasing recognition and ride a wave that may bring layoffs, demotions, or ego bruises.

“Don’t get attached to titles, roles, or accolades, but rather be willing to accept the spaces and service you’re asked to attend and provide. Your priorities are best embodied, with grace and integrity of spirit.”
