The Buffalo Bills will travel to Atlanta to take on the Falcons to close out Week 6 of the NFL season in the first of two Monday Night Football games.

The Bills opened up their season with four consecutive victories, but are coming off an uncharacteristic loss to the New England Patriots last week. Buffalo had three turnovers in their home loss to the division rival and will look to limit their mistakes on the road in Atlanta.

The Falcons are coming off an exciting win against the Washington Commanders thanks to 181 all-purpose yards from running back Bijan Robinson, and 313 yards through the air from quarterback Michael Penix Jr. Wide receiver Drake London added to the festivities with 110 yards on eight catches and a touchdown.

Overall, Atlanta has allowed the fewest total yards this season while Buffalo has allowed the fifth-fewest. The Falcons have allowed the fewest passing yards this season, and the Bills are right behind them with the second-fewest allowed. Bills quarterback Josh Allen has the seventh-most yards gained per pass attempt (8.0) among active quarterbacks, and Penix is in the 14th spot in that regard (7.3).

Will the Bills improve to 5-1, or will the Falcons get over the hump and improve to a 3-2 record on Monday Night Football? The staff at Newsweek Sports has some insight.

Ricardo Sandoval: The Bills slipped last week to their division opponents and suffered their first loss of the season. Although Buffalo will be on the road for this match, expect the Bills to come out with vengeance and get back in the winning column.

Prediction: Bills 30, Falcons 21

Aaron Coloma: The Bills enter Monday’s matchup against the Falcons on the back of a crushing loss against the Patriots in Week 5. Buffalo hasn’t exactly played anyone good yet — with none of their wins coming against teams with more than one win — but it shows they beat the teams they need to beat. As much as I’d love to take the underdog, the Bills should have this one wrapped up pretty early.

Prediction: Bills 27, Falcons 13

Valentina Martinez: The Bills scored their lowest amount of points in a game this season last week against the Patriots, so it can be expected that Buffalo will bounce back in the MNG showdown against the Falcons.

Prediction: Bills 35, Falcons 27

Nelson Espinal: The Bills got their first loss of the season last week and should be out for blood, at least offensively. Defensively, the Bills are not good enough to truly contend for a Super Bowl — at least not yet. Josh Allen is operating at an MVP level yet again, but the Bills have failed to make much of a defensive impact. This game will be explosive, with Bijan Robinson running for more than 100 yards and Michael Penix getting a good deal of open receivers from play action or in the spread. The Falcons’ defense has not been terrible, but I think they will make enough stops to make the Bills’ losing streak reach two.

Prediction: Falcons 34, Bills 30

Gabe Smallson: Both teams boast impressive defenses, but the Bills are coming off an embarrassing loss to a divisional rival last week that shattered hopes of an undefeated season. The Falcons, on the other hand, saw their stars play really well last week in a game not many picked them to win. If it is up to solid defenses and stars coming out for a primetime matchup, I have to go with Josh Allen and the Bills, who are looking for a statement win to get back on track.

Prediction: Bills 31, Falcons 17
