Four people were hurt when a fast-burning blaze ripped through a Brooklyn apartment building Saturday, officials said.

The fire broke out on the top floor of the four-story building on Cropsey Ave., between Bay Parkway and Bay 31st Street in Bay Ridge around 11 a.m., fire officials said.

A firefighter was taken to Coney Island Hospital in stable condition and three civilians were taken to NYU Langone Hospital with minor injuries, the FDNY said.

The firefighter was later released from the hospital, an FDNY spokesman said.

Twelve FDNY units and 60 firefighters and EMS personnel responded to the smoky scene. The fire was under control by 12:15 p.m.

The FDNY Fire Marshals are investigating the cause of the flames.
