A popular potato chip brand has issued a voluntary recall after a potential Salmonella risk. Utz Quality Foods LLC, a subsidiary of Pennsylvania-based Utz Brands Inc, recalled some varieties of its Zapp’s and Dirty potato chips due to a potential contamination linked to milk powder. The impact chips have seasoning that contained dry milk powder manufactured by California Dairies, which may be contaminated with Salmonella, the Food and Drug Administration said in a recall notice.
