Hollywood mourned the deaths of some of its most legendary stars in 2026.
The year started off with Broadway performer and influencer Bret Hanna-Shuford’s death at age 46. At the end of the month, comedy acting icon Catherine O’Hara died at age 71.
In February, Dawson’s Creek actor James Van Der Beek died at age 48 and actor Eric Dane died at age 53. Former NASCAR driver Chase Pistone and actor Chuck Norris died in March.
In April, Days of Our Lives actor Patrick Muldoon died following a heart attack and singer Alan Osmond died at age 76.
The following month, news broke that CNN founder Ted Turner had died at 87. NASCAR icon Kyle Busch also died on May 21 at the age of 41.
In June, legendary music executive Clive Davis also died at age 94 following a hospitalization for an upper respiratory infection.
