“Romantic Homicide” singer D4vd has reportedly broken his lease and moved out of the $4 million mansion he was renting in Los Angeles — just days after it was raided by cops after a 15-year-old runaway was found dismembered in the trunk of his nearby Tesla.
Movers were spotted hauling the New York-born singer’s belongings out of the Hollywood Hills crash pad earlier this week after he suddenly opted out of the $20,000-a-month rental in the wake of the murder investigation, the Daily Mail reported.
The four-bedroom home where he’d been staying was searched by police on Sept. 17 as cops continue to probe how the decomposed remains of teen runway, Celeste Rivas Hernandez, ended up in the back of his car earlier this month.
It wasn’t immediately clear if D4vd was still there when cops searched the property, or where he is now.
The singer, whose legal name is David Anthony Burke, has not been named as a suspect in the teen’s death.
The teen’s body was found back on Sept. 8 — the day after her 15th birthday — when D4vd’s abandoned Tesla was brought to a Hollywood tow lot.
Since then, investigators have been tracking her history, including how she had been reported missing multiple times in the past.
Rivas Hernandez was last reported missing by her family in April last year when she was 13, but had run away at least twice because of trouble at home, TMZ reported, citing law enforcement sources.
Authorities haven’t yet disclosed if they have any suspects in the twisted case.
D4vd, who skyrocketed to international fame on TikTok, has faced intense scrutiny ever since the girl’s remains were uncovered.
His team said the singer, who canceled the remainder of his world tour, has been cooperating with law enforcement as connections between the teen and the pop star continued to emerge.
Previously emerged screenshots of old messages on D4vd’s Discord fan server showed he was rumored to be dating a teen named “Celeste” in the years before Rivas Hernandez was found dead.
D4vd, who boasts well over 2 million followers on Instagram, once made an unreleased track in which he mentioned the name “Celeste” twice.
Several photos also captured the star with a young woman bearing a strong resemblance to Rivas Hernandez and her mom previously told TMZ that the teen had been dating someone called “David.”
