Police searched a Hollywood Hills home connected to singer D4vd overnight on Wednesday, after a teenage girl’s body was discovered in a Tesla registered to him, according to ABC News.
Law enforcement sources told the outlet that the musician, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, had been staying at the house but does not own it.
During the search, Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) detectives were seen taking a computer and other items from the home.
“Several items of evidence were recovered and will be analyzed by detectives in the coming days,” LAPD said in a statement to ABC News.” This is an ongoing investigation. Investigators are following up on several leads.”
Authorities identified the victim as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, who was reported missing last year.
Newsweek contacted LAPD via email on Friday outside of regular working hours.
This is a developing story. More to follow.
