The Dance Moms cast always supports each other.
Former cast members including Kendall Vertes and her mom, Jill Vertes, Melissa Gisoni, Paige Hyland, Kelly Hyland and Christi Lukasiak showed their support for Brooke Hyland while celebrating her bridal shower on Sunday, January 25. Jill, 60, took to Instagram on Monday, January 26, to share moments from the event. In one pic, she posed with the cast while they all wrapped their arms around each other and smiled.
Jill also hugged Brooke, 27, who is engaged to Brian Thalman. The cast enjoyed a lunch together and laughed with one another.
“Celebrating @brookehyland with family and friends!” Jill captioned the post. “Every detail was on point. So excited for all of your new beginnings♥️♥️ Love you💋💋.” More Dance Moms cast members gushed over the photos in the comments section.
“Love this 😍,” Kalani Hilliker Goldman wrote. Elliana Walmsley added, “🤍🤍,” while the official Dance Moms Instagram account commented, “❤️💐💐💐.”
Brooke also shared moments from her shower, including sweet pics of her hugging her mom. Kelly, 54, looked radiant in a blue blazer and straight pants. “My something blue 🦋🩵,” Brooke gushed in the comments section.
Christi, for her part, gushed about “the most beautiful bride-to-be” via her Instagram. “The details were gorgeous and I still can’t wrap my head around @kellylhyland being the mother-of-the-bride 🥹,” she captioned a post of Kelly handing out a gift basket, with Brooke holding a bouquet of flowers and pointing at her engagement ring.
Brooke announced that she got engaged to Thalman in May 2024. At the time, she shared the news via her Instagram while beaming for the camera and holding up her hand, flaunting her massive diamond ring. Her Brilliant Earth ring features a 3.25-carat elongated cushion-cut diamond set on an 18K yellow gold band.
Back in 2023, Brooke shared her engagement ring shopping experience with her fans. To decide on the perfect ring, she took Kelly, Paige, 25, and Gisoni, 57, with her.
“Melissa picked us up and then we went straight to Brilliant Earth,” she said while vlogging. “I went in there knowing nothing other than what band I wanted and left feeling so confident,” Brooke added.
“I tried on so many different shapes, sizes and combinations. I wanted them all!” she added. “I got sized because I found the one and everyone got emotional.” Brooke then cut the camera to Gisoni, tearing up.
“Come engagement ring shopping at @Brilliant Earth with my mom, sister & Melissa to figure out what I want for when the day comes 💍✨ ,” she captioned the post.
Brooke and Thalman met in 2021 and started dating shortly after. In March 2022, they made their relationship Instagram official.
Dance Moms followed the girls and their moms as they competed in competitions through Abby Lee Miller’s dance company. The show aired on Lifetime from 2011 through 2019. The show aired a reunion with fan favorites including Brooke, Paige, Kendall, JoJo Siwa and Chloe Lukasiak. Maddie Ziegler, Kenzie Ziegler and Nia Sioux were not present.
