Heading into the 2025 season, the Philadelphia Eagles had arguably one of the NFL’s deepest rosters. Following their strong start to the year, Howie Roseman continues to find ways to improve in the margins.
In their opening matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, the reigning champs were able to kick the year off in the win column. Now, they prepare for their first notable showdown of the season. In Week 2, Philadelphia will face off against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in a rematch of last year’s Super Bowl.
Amid some recent developments, it appears that the Eagles will have more offensive weapons at their disposal in this high-profile showdown.

Bigsby, 24, was a third-round pick by the Jaguars in the 2023 draft. Across 34 appearances for the team, he totaled 910 yards and nine touchdowns.
Now, Bigsby will have a chance to share the backfield with one of the league’s top running backs in Saquon Barkley.
As of now, it is unclear if Bigsby will be available for the Eagles when they take on the Chiefs Sunday. He had five carries for Jacksonville Week 1 and totaled just 12 yards.
