All eyes on Davos where EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen speaks on the main stage today. This, as transatlantic tensions over a looming trade war boil over and European industry snarls back at the ‘ludicrous demands’ to hand over Greenland. Meanwhile, President Trump has linked his threat to annex Greenland to his failure to win this year’s Nobel Peace Prize.

To make sense of all of this, we cross over to Davos where the World Economic Forum is getting underway to bring in Euronews EU editor Maria Tadeo. With her: Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan’s President, who joins Europe Today for an exclusive interview.
