A Sam’s Club in Florida was forced to throw away $10,500 worth of perfectly good Spam and Vienna sausages after a man relieved himself on the canned meat.

Patrick Francis Mitchell, a 70-year-old retiree, was spotted taking a leak in aisle 18, at Sam’s Club in Lady Lake, an Orlando area town, according to a police affidavit.

He also urinated on some canned sausages — in total ruining 188 bulk units of Vienna sausages and 345 units of canned Spam Classic.

According to the surveillance footage, he walked up to the pallets and placed both hands in front of him, below the belt line, and stood there for several seconds.

“Behavior consistent with urination,” reported Marion County Detective Ronnie Williams.

Mitchell was then seen casually strolling to the snack section of the store and then sitting on patio furniture for about 10 minutes, before he walked over to the register, paid for his items and left the store.

He was arrested at his home in the Village of Piedmont, the retirement community dubbed “Florida’s Friendliest Hometown” where he lives with his wife.

Mitchell is facing charges of disorderly conduct and criminal mischief — a felony since the alleged damage exceeded $1,000. He pleaded not guilty and is free on a $3,000 bond.
