Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is currently off the court right now for the next 2-4 weeks with a calf strain injury, but that’s not stopping former players from calling out the multi-time MVP.
Former Boston Celtics NBA champion Kendrick Perkins took a shot at the “Greek Freak” on the “Road Trippin’ Show,” saying that he is getting other people in the media, from reporters to coaches, covering for him when he should be talking publicly about what he wants to do.
“Giannis is a coward, respectfully,” Perkins said. “Come out and say trade me and stand on it.”
Antetokounmpo is currently embroiled in the biggest story of the 2025 NBA season, as multiple reports indicate he is looking for a new team and wants out before his free agency in two years. This has led to hot takes, discussion, and numerous teams seeking to be the ones to acquire one of the best players in the league.
Perkins went on to say he was tired of the drama, and that Antetokounmpo needs to just tell the world he wants to be traded and get it over with, so it’s out in the open.
