Four people are fighting for their lives after a massive house fire west of Brisbane this morning.
Fire crews rushed to a house on Darcy Way, Lawnton, in the Moreton Bay region at 5.45am on Sunday to find the house engulfed in flames.
Two teenagers – a boy and a girl – and a man and woman in their 30s were treated by 18 paramedics at the scene, before being rushed to hospital in life-threatening conditions.
Firefighters evacuated neighbouring properties at the height of the blaze, but managed to contain the fire about 7am.
The neighbours have since returned to their homes.
A crime scene has been declared and investigations are under way into the cause of the fire.
