One vacationer was not only shocked when she walked into a disgusting home she was renting through Airbnb — but also couldn’t believe how the owner mishandled the situation.
“I am so heated right now. We came to a place in Fort Lauderdale…look how dirty this place is. Look who they brought to a dirty place? I have a mother that loves to clean. They brought the wrong person here,” TikTok user Lara (@larad_official) said in a viral video with over 600,000 views.
“We reached out to the host and tell him and send him pictures…and he’s like ‘You guys are the first ones to complain about this.’”
As soon as she said that, Lara flipped the camera to show horrifying mold covered lounge chairs. “You want me to sleep on this stuff out here and get a nice tan?” she angrily asked as she pointed to the disgusting furniture.
Even the pool was filthy. “That’s all dirty,” Lara complained, clearly baffled at the lack of care by the home’s owners.
Lara then said the host didn’t apologize and was quick on the defense saying, “It’s normal for it to be dirty outside.”
If you didn’t vomit yet — the filth inside the house will make you do it.
As the video continued, Lara brought viewers on a tour of the gross home showing things like hair on the kitchen counter and bed — which also had “crusty dusty stains.”
The couch was nasty, the walls were disgusting — and bugs crawled around the shower.
“It literally stinks in here on top of that. We’re leaving.”
Thankfully based on the video’s caption and a follow-up video that Lara posted — Airbnb reportedly did the right thing and gave this frustrated vacationer a refund. She relocated to the Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach hotel.

While some travelers are running out of their Airbnb rentals — others are getting kicked out for taking bikini photos.
An OnlyFans model named Nyla Caselli was booted from her Curacao — an island in the Caribbean — rental by the host of the home because they thought she was filming X-rated videos.
“A few hours after they left, the Airbnb host came to the room while I was sleeping,” the influencer told Jam Press. “They told me they had ‘seen what I was doing earlier’ and that I had to leave.”
“I was literally in a bikini. It wasn’t anything crazy.”
“They said it was inappropriate and I was filming porn and I had to go,” said Caselli.
“I don’t know if they Googled me but the host just didn’t want me there at all.”
