This week on Getting Real With the Housewives, Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks gets candid on season 17 newcomer K. Michelle.

“K. Michelle is absolutely hilarious. You know, after we’ve seen all of these singers, everyone wants to sing. Now, we got one that’s really a highly acclaimed singer with Grammys and real credits and really awesome talent,” Phaedra tells Us. “She definitely clears the room with her wonderful voice and all of her accomplishments.”

Slutty Vegan founder Pinky Cole also made her Housewives debut this season, with Phaedra, 52, describing her as a “rambling TED Talk commercial at all times.”

Pinky, 38, and Phaedra appear to have their differences this season, with the entrepreneur saying in the season 17 trailer that the licensed mortician “eats dead people.”

“I was like ‘Hmm, I do love some crispy, fried bacon, but it’s usually from a pig,’” Phaedra jokingly explains. “That’s something I’ve never done, but it’s interesting because we’ve known each other in business for well over a decade. I know she’s a very smart cookie, so I’m excited that she’s bringing her different flavor to the show and I think people will definitely identify with it.”

Phaedra also teases that the drama between her and Angela Oakley will dissipate. In season 16, Angela accused Phaedra of being behind a messy setup involving a man who publicly alleged Angela’s husband, Charles Oakley, had cheated. Phaedra denied orchestrating anything, but the accusation created major tension that spilled into the reunion.

“We did turn a corner, so that was a good thing,” Phaedra tells Us. “It was her first season, so at the end of the day, she was new to it. You’ve got to give grace to people, because it’s hard to come into this group and not be skeptical and not have preconceived notions. So me and her are definitely in a different place, and you’ll see that relationship evolve.”
