It’s like plain (cheese pizza) on your wedding day.

A UK bride ripped into her starved wedding guest who ordered a pizza at her reception — but viewers are divided over her controversial move.

The ludicrous story came to light via a video by a TikToker named Lisa, who frequently shares stories sent to her by fans.

“Am I wrong for ordering a pizza to a wedding after we weren’t fed for 8 hours?” reads the caption to the clip, which amassed over 350,000 views.

According to the viral video, the incident occurred at a wedding in York, which reportedly didn’t provide anything substantial for guests despite running from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

“There [were] photos, drinks, and more photos with no food in sight,” said Lisa while relaying the follower’s tale of the alleged forced fast. So when it got to 8 p.m., she was “absolutely struggling” on account of not having “eaten since breakfast.”

“No food had been served other than a few tiny canapes, which disappeared instantly,” she said, adding that the guest was “starting to get hangry.”

The friend had reportedly been fed the false intel “that the canapés would be more than they were and was led to believe this would be more like a lunch,” Lisa told Jam Press. “But obviously that wasn’t the case, and all the guests were complaining about the lack of food.”

That’s when the peckish guests decided to take matters into their own hands with a pie in the sky idea.

Per the clip, she and a buddy “decided to order a pizza” and have it delivered “sneakily to the venue.”

When it arrived, the covert crust munchers slipped outside to grab the pie and then shared it among other guests who were also suffering from the nuptial munchies.

Word about the group’s surreptitious slice snacking quickly spread until it reached the bride, who was reportedly “furious” with the friend.

She labeled the pizza party “tacky” and “embarrassing” and said that if the friend had “just been patient,” food would have arrived in the next 30 minutes.

Commenters were split over the special delivery, with one sympathizer writing, “what was tacky was not feeding their guests for 8 hours. She’s lucky half of them didn’t leave.”

“I would never let my guests go hungry,” said another. “The bride is the rude one here.

“People want to get married and treat their guests like they’re decor,” wrote a third. “Either pay for a proper wedding or don’t have one.”

However, others felt it was a real “dough pas” to snack on slices at the actual venue. “You shouldn’t have eaten it in there,” criticized one commenter. “U and your friend should’ve gone outside and eaten it.”

Even the slice-scarfing friend in question agreed, admitting “the pizza was eaten outside which should have been out of sight of the bride and groom but other guests saw and some approached to have some,” Jam Press reported.
