Influencer Emilie Kiser is reflecting on the support she has received since the death of her 2-year-old son, Trigg, and her return to social media.

“I just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for the love and support on my most recent post. I have been truly blown away by the love, comfort, and support,” Kiser wrote via her Instagram Story on Tuesday, September 23. “I appreciate so many of you sharing your similar experiences and your own stories of how you have dealt with grief and loss.”

She continued, “The internet can be such a dark place, and in moments like this I am reminded how much good there can be in the support and community that we can all give each other. If anyone who follows me or reads this is dealing with loss, I just want to say that I am here for you and I hope you are getting the love and support you need.”

News broke in May that Kiser’s eldest son, Trigg, died after being pulled unconscious from the family’s backyard pool. In July, the Chandler Police Department submitted a criminal charge recommendation for Emilie’s husband, Brady Kiser, as he was home when the incident occurred, but a statement released by the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office later said there was “no likelihood of conviction.”

Emilie, who also shares son Teddy with Brady, broke her silence on Trigg’s death in August.

“Loss of this magnitude feels impossible to put into words,” Emilie wrote via Instagram at the time. “I’ve spent days, weeks, months trying to find them and also take the time I’ve needed to digest the loss of my baby.”

She continued, “Trigg is our baby and our best friend. The light and spirit he brought into this world was bright, pure, joyful and undeniable. We miss him every second of every day and continuing forward often feels unbearable. I never thought we would experience grief in this way or the pain of losing him so suddenly.”

Emilie returned to TikTok on Saturday, September 20, while wearing a necklace that read, “Trigg.”

“I have missed getting to chat with you guys everyday,” Emilie said. “I really do love this community we have here, and I hope that in coming back and sharing what I choose to, I can reconnect with you guys and, hopefully, help anyone going through a similar situation.”

She continued, “I have been offline for the last little bit. I’m just doing my best every day to figure this out, figure my life out. I’m just taking it day by day. I’m going to do the same with my content.”
