Justin Bieber is in celebration mode after dropping his latest album, Swag, and his son, Jack Blues, is seemingly along for the ride.
The pop star, 31, shared a carousel of photos via Instagram on Monday, July 14, and included a few adorable snaps of his baby, 10 months. In one, Bieber took a nap on the beach next to Jack, who was wearing a white onesie with the word “Mardi,” French for Tuesday, printed on it.
In a similar photo taken at a closer angle, Bieber clutched his son’s ankle as they relaxed in the shade. Other snaps showed gorgeous tropical vistas, including a couple pictures of an infinity pool at sunset and a photo of the back of a boat. The Grammy winner captioned the carousel with a string of sunset emojis.
Justin and his wife, Hailey Bieber, welcomed Jack in August 2024. Both Jack and Hailey, 28, feature in the album artwork for Swag, which Justin dropped on Friday, July 11.
“This is more of a personal project that Justin has been wanting to put out, almost like a mixtape,” a source told Us Weekly of the album, which is Justin’s first since 2021’s Justice. “His label is planning a more traditional pop album for early next year.”
The album includes multiple references to Hailey, including on the song “Go Baby,” which nods to her viral Rhode phone case with a built-in lip balm holder.
“That’s my baby / She’s iconic / iPhone case / Lip gloss on it,” he sings.
On the track “Walking Away,” meanwhile, Justin hints at his plans to continue his marriage to Hailey even if they face difficulties in their relationship.
“Baby, I ain’t walking away / You were my diamond / Gave you a ring / I made you a promise,” he sings. “I told you I’d change / It’s just human nature / These growing pains / And baby, I ain’t walking away.”
Over the weekend, Justin’s former manager Scooter Braun shared his thoughts on Swag in a statement shared via his Instagram Story.
“Been having a beautiful start to the weekend and getting a lot of texts about how I feel about Justin’s new album,” Braun, 44, wrote on Saturday, July 12. “This is, without a doubt, the most authentically Justin Bieber album to date.”
He added, “It’s beautiful, raw and truly him. And that matters.”
Braun, who parted ways with Justin in 2023, went on to praise the way his former client surprised fans with the album.
“The way he chose to release it is just as intentional as the music itself,” he continued. “I’m happy to see him do it his way. I have played no roll [sic] in this one, but as someone who’s always believed in him, I’m incredibly proud and impressed and genuinely enjoying this music.”
While Justin has not publicly responded to Braun’s message, Hailey raised eyebrows with an Instagram post seemingly related to the statement. Around the same time that Braun shared his praise, Hailey uploaded a side-eye selfie with Mariah Carey’s “Obsessed” playing in the background.
