Logan Paul appears as if he’s officially on the mend, following surgery for a rough injury he suffered during this past weekend’s WWE “Saturday Night’s Main Event” in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The former United States Champion, who held the WWE Tag Team Championship alongside his The Vision stablemate, Austin Theory, reportedly tore his triceps, which required surgery.
Following the injury, Michael Cole confirmed on this past Monday’s WWE “Raw” in Columbus, Ohio, that Paul would be out of action for months as he recovered.
On Wednesday, the social media influencer and professional wrestling star went on social media to update fans on his potential return, sharing two photos from the surgery.
“Tore my tricep, got surgery while wide awake, told doc I wanna feel it all. Still the Tag Team champ just FYI. They’re telling me 6 month recovery but I don’t believe them, I’ll be back in a couple weeks with some PRIME shake (32g protein),” he wrote for his X message.

With that, he included a post-surgery photo showing his left arm stitched up and a stunned expression on his face. In a second photo, he is lying on his side on a hospital bed and strapped down for surgery. He also has a shocked look on his face to sell that he was awake for the surgery.
Since Paul plays a convincing heel and he and his brother are known for finding ways to go viral on social media, X commenters seemed suspicious about his post, especially since X’s “Made with AI” label appeared underneath it.
“Why does it say AI? Why would you fake this? Idk if you did, so genuinely wondering,” one commenter asked.
Others wrote, “We can all see this post was made by AI,” and “Why posting this kind of content, with an AI generated image. This is misleading.”
X’s AI, Grok, responded to a question about the label under Paul’s post, suggesting the photos seemed legitimate. Grok indicated that it might have been a “mistaken false positive” from an AI detector, resulting in an inaccurate label.
Others wished him well in his recovery, which seems more likely to be closer to the six months he mentioned. The Prime joke comment was mostly another attempt at clever social media marketing to sell his shakes.
“I wish you a speedy recovery. Soon you will take flight in the ring once more!” a commenter said.
Another commented, “Hope recovery goes smoothly though. Better to take the full healing time seriously than come back too early and make it worse.”
With Paul out of action, The Vision’s Bron Breakker is officially holding half of the WWE Tag Team Championship with Theory. That could last until Paul returns, or not, as it would seem quite a lengthy reign for that championship.
If six months is the accurate timeline, that would mean Paul could return by late November, potentially appearing at Survivor Series 2026. WWE could also keep him out a bit longer, allowing for an impactful return as a late entrant in the 2027 Royal Rumble, which occurs in January.
He’d join other stars who had big Royal Rumble returns after significant injuries, including Edge, Triple H, and John Cena. WWE could also use this to develop a storyline involving The Vision, if they chose to go that route.
