An alleged sicko from Long Island was caught with more than 50 AI-generated images of child porn using the likeness of two real girls’ photos he pulled from social media, according to local authorities.
Nicholas Zavesky, 43, took images of a pair of real-life girls from social media platforms and uploaded them into an AI program that created dozens of images removing their clothing and depicting them having sex, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.
Suffolk County police found the disturbing trove of images after raiding his East Patchogue home on Thursday morning following a tip, prosecutors said.
Zavesky, an “MVP” softball pitcher in the United States Specialty Sports Association, pleaded not guilty during an initial court hearing and was released with GPS, computer and internet monitoring.
A temporary order of protection was also issued prohibiting him from contacting the alleged victims, the DA confirmed.
The invasive images were generated using photos gathered from the social media accounts of a pair of girls between the ages of 12 and 16, the DA said, but couldn’t say if or how Zavesky knew them.
The tip to police leading to his arrest came from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, a national organization focused on catching distributors of child pornography on the internet.
Zavesky is due back in court on Sept. 11.
