Madison LeCroy was over-the-moon to be pregnant with her second baby — but she didn’t anticipate how hard it would be to film Southern Charm at the same time.

“It was honestly, like, probably one of the worst things I’ve ever had to do,” Madison, 34, exclusively told Us Weekly of the Bravo shooting process while expecting.

She joked, “I don’t know if it was one, being dead sober or two, just being extremely heavy and very hot. I was dying.”

Madison — who announced at the Southern Charm season 10 reunion in March that she was pregnant with her and husband Brett Randle’s first child — confessed filming got “really bad” as she grew bigger and bigger. (Madison shares son Hudson, 12, with ex-husband Josh Hughes.)

Now that her daughter, Teddi, is here, Madison’s tune has changed. The hairstylist exclusively told Us that she gave birth to her little one on Sunday, June 29, when the baby was 34 weeks. The reality star also shared her birthing story via an Amazon Livestream video sponsored by Graco on Thursday, July 3.

Madison said Teddi is “independent” and everyone’s “obsessed” with her just days after her arrival. Now that both mom and baby are home, Madison told Us that she’s been nesting — and not worrying about which of her Southern Charm castmates were in the loop about her news.

Venita Aspen, however, was on the VIP list and was notified before she gave birth.

“I did have to tell Venita because I think she tracks my location, so I was like, ‘Oh, my God, if she sees me here, she’s gonna know,’” Madison recalled to Us. “So Venita knows, but I’m not sure if she told anybody else. But it’s only a matter of time.”

Madison, who joined the Bravo cast in 2019, joked that she was “more shocked” that “none of them have called me” recently, noting she’d been a little quiet on social media.

“They haven’t heard from me in the last three days. So, they’re in trouble,” she said with a laugh, teasing the cast should’ve guessed that’s why she hadn’t checked in.

Over the years, Madison’s Southern Charm friendships have ebbed and flowed and although she’s close with her ex-boyfriend Austen Kroll, she told Us he’s not on her approved babysitting list.

When asked who in the cast is “least likely” to watch Teddi, Madison replied, “Whitney [Sudler-Smith] for sure.”

She then added, “I mean, I don’t [think] any of the guys really. The guys are not allowed, no.”

Another decision Madison has to make is whether Teddi will make her Southern Charm debut this season, or at all. Madison confessed she doesn’t “know yet” if the baby will appear on camera.

“Honestly, we’ll kind of see what she wants to do, but I don’t know if they can afford her,” she said with a laugh. “She’s [pricey].”

Madison’s son, Hudson, has been featured on several episodes of the Bravo series as has her husband, whom she wed in November 2022, so only time will tell if Teddi joins the crew.

In the meantime, Madison is embracing the newborn phase and looking to “soak up” every minute.
