The Los Angeles Rams pulled off one of the most seismic trades in recent memory when they acquired reigning AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett from the Cleveland Browns last Monday.

Garrett, 30, is six months removed from setting the NFL’s all-time single-season sack record at 23 sacks. The 2017 No. 1 overall pick is a five-time All-Pro with 125.5 career sacks and a future first-ballot Hall of Famer. Garrett also proved that his freakish athleticism isn’t confined to rushing quarterbacks, as he ripped his honorary first pitch right over home plate.

Rams fans will forever be indebted to Garrett if he lures Aaron Donald out of retirement.

Donald, 35, walked away from the NFL in 2024 as one of the greatest defensive tackles in the league’s history. After news of the Garrett trade broke, Donald texted NFL insider Jordan Schultz that he was “for sure flirting with the idea” of rejoining the Rams and contending to win Super Bowl LXI at SoFi Stadium next February.
