Cluck yeah — America’s fastest-growing chicken chain is on the move.

Raising Cane’s is continuing its rapid nationwide expansion, with nine new restaurant openings — including one in California.

The expansions begin rolling out in May as the chicken chain pushes deeper into key markets.

The brand has already opened more than a dozen locations in 2026 and is set to roll out its next wave beginning next week, according to a report from The Sun.

The California location is scheduled to open May 12 at 2299 N. Imperial Ave. in El centro, one of several openings planned across the country this month.

A spokesperson for Raising Cane’s said 2026 marks “another exciting chapter” as the company looks to keep growing nationwide, with a long-term goal of reaching 1,600 restaurants in the US.

The chain opened 100 new locations in 2025 and has kept up the pace this year, with multiple openings already compelted and more in the pipeline — including expansion into new regions.
