Real Housewives of Atlanta alums Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker are keeping things civil over the holidays.
Burruss, 49, documented her Thanksgiving Day festivities via Instagram on Thursday, November 27, including a family photo with daughter Riley, 23, sons Ace, 9, and Blaze, 6, and her mom, “Mama” Joyce Jones.
“Happy Thanksgiving! I truly enjoyed my day with my fam. I hope you enjoyed yours! Now I feel stuffed like a turkey & need to lay down. ❤️🦃,” Burruss captioned the photo.
Some fans were quick to notice that Burruss’ estranged husband, Tucker, who is the father of Ace and Blaze, was not in the snap, but she took to the comments section to clarify that he was indeed on hand for Thanksgiving.
“Before anyone assumes anything, Todd came earlier to eat with us, but he wasn’t there for the pic. He was not left out or anything like that,” the Kandi Koated founder wrote.
Fans also noticed that despite Tucker’s absence in the photo, his daughter from a previous relationship, Kaela, was pictured with Burruss and her family.
“I love Kaela still included no matter what. A family,” one fan wrote.
Another commented, “Awwwwww love this….Kaela is still family ❤️.”
Burruss and Tucker called it quits after 11 years of marriage, the RHOA star confirmed in a statement to Us Weekly on November 21.
“After deep thought and a lot of prayer, I’ve made the decision to move forward with a divorce. This is a difficult and emotional time, but my focus remains on protecting my peace, being the best mother I can be, and co-parenting with love and respect,” Burruss said. “I’m stepping into a new chapter pouring into my work, my family and my own growth. I’m grateful to everyone who supported us throughout the years, and I ask for privacy, grace and understanding as we navigate this transition with our family.”
During a Monday, November 24, Amazon Live broadcast, Burruss opened up about the divorce, admitting that it had been “brewing for a while.”
“I’m gonna be very honest with you, I am up and down,” she said. “Obviously, going through a divorce is definitely not the easiest thing. Sometimes you’re cool, you’re moving, you’re mixing, you’re moving, you’re hanging out with friends.”
“But then sometimes you have your moments of sadness. And me being the Taurus that I am, I like to keep those moments to myself,” Burruss continued. “So all the times you’ve been seeing me online [all smiles] means nothing. I’ve been going through it, child. I’ve been going through it. Life has been life-ing me.”
“Sometimes things don’t work out. It just is what it is,” she added, noting that she and Tucker are “keeping it very friendly” for the sake of their children.
News of Burruss and Tucker’s divorce came just a week after she honored her estranged husband when she accepted the Wifetime Achievement Award at BravoCon 2025’s The Bravos in Las Vegas.
“To Todd, thank you for surviving the blogs, the shade, the rumors, the lies, the truth, the almost fights, the actual fights, the reunions,” she said. “You earned this award too.”
