Romy Reiner learned from paramedics that her mother had been killed after she discovered the slain body of her Hollywood director father inside the couple’s Los Angeles home.

Romy, the youngest child of Rob and Michelle Singer Reiner, rushed over to her parents’ Brentwood mansion when a massage therapist called and said they hadn’t received an answer at the gate on Sunday afternoon, a family friend told the New York Times.

The 28-year-old daughter, who lives across the street, came over with a roommate to open the gate and check on her parents — where she discovered the body of her legendary filmmaker dad.

She then fled the home and had her roommate call 911 while she reached out to Reiner’s best pal, Billy Crystal, the outlet reported.

It was only when police and paramedics arrived on scene that Romy was given the heartbreaking news that her mother, Michele Singer Reiner, had also been murdered, a person close to the Reiner family who wished to remain anonymous told the outlet.

Romy did not see her mother’s body, the source said.

Crystal — friends with Reiner since starring in his blockbuster “When Harry Met Sally” — had rushed with his wife to the scene, where they reportedly saw their friends’ bodies, according to earlier reports.

Rob and Michelle Reiner had been dead for several hours — with rigor mortis already setting in — before Romy found the pair, law enforcement sources told TMZ. Court documents suggested they were murdered in the early hours, long before the horrifying discovery around 3:30 p.m.

She told police that her older brother, Nick Reiner, had been staying in a guesthouse on the property.

Nick, 32, was arrested hours later and charged with their parents’ murders.

The source close to the family said there were no recent warning signs that Nick — who has struggled with drug addiction and mental health issues for years — was capable of carrying out such a violent act, the Times reported.

However, Nick had a massive blow-up at Conan O’Brien’s Christmas party the night before he allegedly killed his parents, with tension escalating into a “very loud argument” among the trio.

“What’s your name? What’s your last name? Are you famous?” Nick was asking guests, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Nick had also interrupted SNL alum Bill Hader at the holiday bash, a witness has said.

When Hader told Nick Reiner that he was having a “private conversation,” the screenwriter allegedly just stood there and stared before “storming off.”

The heated exchange was possibly started because Nick was back on drugs and refusing yet another go at treatment after at least 17 stints in rehab since age 15, a source told The Post.

“Rob had been telling people that they’re scared for Nick and scared that his mental state was deteriorating,” a lifelong family friend who lives near the Reiner home told The Post.

The 32-year-old nepo baby is expected to face two counts of first-degree murder “with a special circumstance” in the disturbing double-slaying that has shaken Hollywood.

He was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday but was not medically cleared to travel to the courthouse, his lawyer said. A hearing is now scheduled for Wednesday.

If found guilty, Nick could potentially face the death penalty, authorities said.

“Like any case, [prosecutors] will take the thoughts and the desires of the family into consideration in making” a decision about seeking execution, Los Angeles District Attorney Nathan Hochman said.

Execution in California can only be sought when a person is facing charges of murder with special circumstances, but they have been halted since March 2019 under a moratorium enacted by Gov. Gavin Newsom.
