Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are looking for their forever home.

The newly engaged couple are still trying to determine what they want on the other side of the door, but a source tells Us Weekly that they are looking into “different destinations.”

Swift is a native of West Reading, Pennsylvania, which is about 60 miles outside of Philadelphia, while Kelce hails from the Cleveland, Ohio suburb of Westlake. The two were spotted in Ohio in July, visiting JoJo’s Bar in nearby Chagrin Falls.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end now lives in Leawood, Kansas, near his home office of Arrowhead Stadium, where the Chiefs play. Swift, who has residences all over the country, can often be found there as well.

“They aren’t 100 percent sure where they will plant roots, so that’s why they have been looking around,” the source said.

Swift and Kelce, both 35, revealed their engagement on Tuesday, August 26, in a joint post via Instagram.

“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” they wrote alongside a carousel of photos showing the moment Kelce popped the question and the ring now placed on Swift’s left hand.

While the sports and music worlds have erupted in support of the couple, who began dating in 2023, those closest to them have begun to share more about how the moment came together. Kelce’s father Ed appeared on “The Jimmy & Nath Show With Emma” podcast on Tuesday where he explained how his son surprised his fiancée.

“They were going to go out to dinner and she was ready to go, [and he said], ‘Let’s go out in the garden. Let’s go out on that little patio out there and have a glass of wine before we go. We got time,’” Ed recalled. “As they walked out there, she could see there’s a lot more flowers out there [than usual].”

“Travis had these plans to do it, I think, on the next weekend before he took off for Brazil,” he continued, referring to the Kansas City Chief’s season opener against the Los Angeles Chargers on September 5 in São Paolo. “He was going to make a big production out of it. [He] wanted to make it really special.”

It was ultimately Ed and Swift’s dad, Scott, who urged Travis to “just get it done.”

“I told him the same thing Scott told him, [which was] asking her is what’s going to make it special,” Ed explained. “That’s where you do it, you know what I mean? … Scott adds on, ‘Just get it done [and] don’t worry about any special date. You’re ready, you got the ring [and] go do it.’”
