Steven “tWitch” Boss was lovingly remembered by his daughter Weslie on Father’s Day.

The 16-year-old, who lost her father in December 2022, took to Instagram on Sunday, June 15, to honor the late TV personality and choreographer.

“Happy Father’s day to my guardian angel,” Weslie wrote over her first Instagram Story, which featured two photos of the duo. “Forever your Ace. I miss you every day.”

Boss died by suicide at the age of 40, with Us Weekly confirming on December 14, 2022, that the investigation into his death was officially closed.

Weslie’s photos appeared to have been snapped by the former Ellen DeGeneres Show DJ, capturing the youngster in dress-up attire as her dad pulled goofy faces for the camera.

Weslie followed her first Story with a video of herself and Boss dancing together. “Some day I’ll get to dance and smile with you again,” she wrote over the second Story, which was originally shared via TikTok. The touching video also originally shared the tongue-in-cheek caption, “Don’t bring ur [sic] overprotective dad.”

Weslie recently opened up about the loss of her father while recording the April 20 episode of her “Between Us” podcast, also hosted by her mother and Boss’ wife, Allison Holker.

The episode, which saw Weslie break down in tears as the pair discussed her younger siblings’ futures, drew candid comments from Weslie. (Weslie is Holker’s daughter from a previous relationship and she grew up with Boss after he married Holker, 37, in 2013. Holker and Boss welcomed son, Maddox, and daughter, Zaia, in 2016 and 2019, respectively.)

“When my siblings grow up, I don’t want them to be, like, ‘[You’re] not biologically related to him.’ I’m going to be, like, ‘We’re his kids and we didn’t get to experience him,’” Weslie said on the podcast at the time. “My biggest fear is that they grow up and they end up resenting, not only him, but us for experiencing it. I don’t want that to happen at all. I’d rather put my feelings aside for them.”

Her mother, a Dancing With the Stars alum, was quick to comfort her daughter.

“They get to have you as their big sister,” Holker told Weslie. “You’re so aware of these feelings, but I don’t want you to ever harp on that and live from that. … They’re not going to resent you. They’re gonna wish that they had these kinds of moments with him, but they’re going to love that you’re teaching them and you’re loving them in that same way [and] presenting that same energy that he would have had onto them.”

Last month, Holker reflected further on life after losing Boss, revealing that her outlook has forever changed. “I think from experiencing loss, I really grew a lot when it came to the comparison and not comparing myself to others, because when I lost Steven — my late husband, two years ago — the things I miss about him are what he probably would have thought were his flaws,” Holker said on the May 18 episode of the podcast. “Or the things that he thought, like, ‘Oh, I’m sorry if this is annoying,’ or, ‘I do this,’ or like, ‘These are weird habits that I have.’ But those are the things I wish I could have back.”
