Morgan is solving crimes and carrying snacks, all from the comfort of one very stylish tote.

Morgan (played by Kaitlin Olson), the brilliant and unconventional lead of ABC’s High Potential, brings her signature charm, wit, and, yes, a little bit of chaos.

Strutting up with flair in leather mini and colorful top, Morgan kicks things off in true Morgan fashion: “Do you have a warrant?” she quips, clutching her purse like it holds national secrets. (Honestly, it kind of does.)

Here’s what she’s actually carrying — and spoiler: it’s not all legal.

“An official police badge,” she announces, flashing a police badge — until her partner (Detective Karadec, played by Daniel Sunjata) gently reminds her she’s not a cop and swiftly confiscates it. (Nice try, Morgan.)

So what does a brilliant single mom–turned-consultant keep on hand?

  • A hefty science book, Technically her son’s
  • Her car keys, which her daughter keeps trying to steal.
  • Case-breaking evidence, including photos and notes she “just happened” to borrow. (This is very important and definitely not stolen. Wink.)
  • A roll of police tape and a red police light she pops on her car to zip through traffic. (Totally unofficial. Totally effective.)
  • And, of course, the MVP of the bag: her beloved cheddar and onion chips — a crunchy callback to the iconic pilot episode. (“These chips basically started it all.”)

Somehow, between the badge, the snacks, and a quick deduction, Morgan even manages to crack a case mid-interview. No big deal.

Whether she’s breaking rules or breaking cases, Morgan proves that with a killer brain and a great bag, anything’s possible.

Watch the season premiere of High Potential tonight at 10/9c on ABC to catch all the clever chaos. Stream on Hulu.
