One of the biggest releases on the platform in October is “Red Alert”, a true-story drama based on the terrible events in Israel on October 7, 2023. As per the synopsis: “From the ambush at an open-air music festival to a family’s last stand inside their home, ordinary people face life-or-death situations as a terrorist invasion turns southern Israel into a war zone.” “Red Alert” starts streaming October 7.
The same day sees the release of “Ozzy: No Escape From Now”, a look back at the legacy of one of rock’s greatest icons. Not only does it chart his legendary life, but also the impact of his Parkinson’s diagnosis.
“This is Ozzy like you’ve never seen before,” reads Paramount+’s synopsis. “An honest, warm and deeply personal portrait of one of the greatest rock stars of all-time, detailing how the singer’s world shuddered to a halt six years ago, forcing him to contemplate who he really is, confront his own mortality and question whether or not he can ever perform on stage for one last time.”
There’s also the season four premiere of “Mayor of Kingstown” on October 26. The thriller, written by Taylor Sheridan, stars Jeremy Renner as Michael ‘Mike’ McLusky, who takes over as Mayor after the death of his brother.
