Hallmark Channel’s Providence Falls trilogy wrapped everything up in a nice, magical, angel-approved bow, but viewers still have questions — like did every scene make the cut? And is it the last fans will see of Cora, Liam and Finn?

Executive producer JoAnna Garcia Swisher exclusively told Us Weekly that there was one romantic moment that didn’t end up in the final movie, which aired on Saturday, August 16.

Warning: Spoilers below from the Providence Falls trilogy.

During Providence Falls: Thief of Fate, Cora McLeod (Katie Stevens) finally gets her memories back from her time with Liam O’Conner (Lachlan Quarmby) in 1844 Ireland. In that moment, she reveals to Liam that she knows they were in love and forces him to tell her exactly what is happening.

The pair lie under the stars — like they did in 1844 before Cora’s untimely death — and Liam reveals that he was sent to modern-day Oregon to help her fulfill her destiny of being with her “soulmate” Finn Walsh (Evan Roderick).

“We talked in great length about all of the different moments and really sort of the bigger picture of that moment where he was laying there really kind of filling her in as their stargazing,” Swisher, 45, recalled to Us of shooting that pivotal scene. “He has all of the memories, and you know, she’s like, ‘It’s unfair that you know what it feels like to kiss me.’”

The producer paused for a minute, realizing, “I actually don’t even know if that line made the cut,” which it did not. Instead, Liam held on tight to Cora and told her, “I’d spend every second of my life touching you if I could.”

Cora ultimately chooses Liam as her true love after he sacrifices himself to save both her and Finn from a corrupt police officer in the woods. Because of his bravery and Cora making her destiny her own, the angels allow him to stay in modern times. (Finn, meanwhile, falls for Cora’s BFF Suzette Deveraux, played by Felicia Simone.)

Liam and Cora end the trilogy by expanding Cora’s Second Chances nonprofit that helps kids turn their lives around. After they are married, Liam asks, “What’s next for us?”

“We are all bubbling with ways to continue these stories, if not through Cora and Liam’s eyes, perhaps the eyes of maybe Katie and Lachlan find new shoes to fill,” Swisher told Us of a possible expansion of the movies. “It’s going to be very hard to not wanna see all three of these beautiful stars of our film together again.”

Stevens, 32, and Quarmby are also on board with the idea of telling more of Cora and Liam’s love story.

“I think there’s definitely more that we could do for sure,” Quarmby exclusively told Us last month. “Especially with the Angels getting involved. It’s limitless.”

Stevens revealed, “I would love selfishly to do stuff back in Ireland because that portion of filming was so magical. I’m like, ‘Let’s do it again.’ But we could go back in time and stay there for longer.”

The Bold Type alum shared her vision for another trilogy, telling Us, “I’ve always thought of them going back to Ireland because the angels tell them that something happened in Ireland that they have to go back and fix, but that they’ll be allowed to keep their memories.”

Stevens continued, “But then something happens because Agon [the angel who was Liam’s case agent] is Agon and when they go back, Liam doesn’t have his modern-day memories. Only Cora does. So then it’s like the switch of this.”

Quarmby suggested perhaps A Providence Falls Christmas movie since Hallmark is known for their seasonal features — and Garcia loves the idea.

“Christmas is, like, the crème de la crème of Hallmark. So, I mean, if we could break our way into there, I’m all for it,” she told Us. “Let’s start the campaign now.”

All three Providence Falls movies can be streamed on Hallmark+.
