Woodside Energy director Mark Cutifani has resigned from his position on the oil and gas giant’s board after just seven months in the role.
In an announcement on the ASX this morning, Cutifani said the decision was made after careful consideration.
“My decision has been made for personal reasons, as I reassess my global professional commitments and identify where I can best devote my time and personal contributions,” he said.
“I wish the Woodside team every success in the future.”
Cutifani has accepted a non-executive director role on the board of gold miner, Northern Resources.
Shareholders will vote on his appointment in November.
