90 Day: The Last Resort’s Jenny Slatten and Sumit Singh aren’t exactly having a ruff day in their latest therapy session.
In Us’ exclusive sneak peek of the Monday, August 24, episode of TLC’s reality show, Dr. Tara Suwinyattichaiporn is ready to provide a few clever and unique tips about intimacy — that require some role play.
“You’re going to give him a collar and a leash, and then you’re just going to take him for a walk in this room,” Dr. Tara, 37, advises Jenny, 68. “This is the animal kingdom. Do what you’re told. Here’s the collar.”
As Sumit, 37, agrees to get into character as a dog, he can’t help but notice how excited his wife appears to be.
“See how happy you are looking,” he says while laughing at the unconventional therapy session.
Dr. Tara, however, isn’t done with the exercise just yet.
“I want you to ask him, ‘Who’s your owner?’” she tells Jenny, suggesting a technique to make him submit. “Now you’re going to take him on a little walk in this room. Let’s make some spaces. Go on all fours [Sumit] and then let her take you.”
Jenny and Sumit’s costars can’t help but laugh as they witness the happy couple follow Dr. Tara’s advice.
“It was never on my bingo card ever for all of my life that I ever thought I would see Jenny leading Sumit around a sex dungeon like a puppy,” Kara says in a confessional interview. “He could be a pug. He’s a cute little guy.”
Guillermo adds, “From my perspective, he will be, like, a very well-fed bulldog.”
Jenny and Sumit have been together for 15 years and reside in India. When signing up for 90 Day: The Last Resort, Jenny had reached a breaking point amid rising tensions with Sumit’s increasingly involved parents.
During her latest exercise, Jenny — who has since revealed her ALS diagnosis — appeared to be all in as she followed Dr. Tara’s guidance and gave her husband some commands.
“Bark to me! Come on, puppy. You’re going to go in your cage,” she says. “You’ve been a good boy. You’re a good dog. I’m your owner. I love you.”
While viewers will have to keep watching to see if the exercise pays off, Sumit appears thrilled with the therapy session.
“Jenny always wanted to have a long, hairy furry puppy,” he says in a confessional interview. “I think that’s why she likes it because I have long, beautiful hair.”
