And Just Like That brought Us a Bravo crossover fans never saw coming.

During the Thursday, June 12, episode of the Max series, Seema (Sarita Choudhury) learns her business partner Elliot (John Glover) is retiring from the real estate firm. She reminds him that they had a “plan” in place for her to buy out his shares and run the company. Elliot promises that he wouldn’t “leave without taking care of” Seema — but not in the way she expects.

“I am selling my shares of the company to Ryan Serhant,” he says. “He’ll take over and become the primary controlling partner.”

Shocked, Seema tells Elliot that they should have had a conversation before bringing in the former Million Dollar Listing New York star. “This isn’t the future I envisioned for myself,” she says.

Expecting a warmer welcome, Ryan walks into the office wearing a festive party hat. “Surprise!” he exclaims before reading the room. “What’s going on? I thought this was gonna be a party. I brought hats.”

Instead of celebrating, Seema declares she’s using “about a million sick days” to “take some time to think about this little merger and acquisition while floating in a pool somewhere.” She calls Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) and takes her up on a previous offer to join her in Virginia for an event. Before the women jet off on their rural getaway — which also serves as the perfect excuse for Carrie to visit Aidan (John Corbett) — Seema finds herself flirting with Carrie’s hot landscaper Adam (Logan Marshall-Green). She later vows to work on starting her own company, The Patel Group.

The Owning Manhattan star is far from the first surprise cameo featured on AJLT since it premiered in 2021. The Sex and the City spinoff has given screentime to Gloria Steinem, Tony Danza, Victor Garber, Sam Smith and more. When the show returned for season 3 last month, viewers saw Rosie O’Donnell take on an unexpected role.

In the season premiere, Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) spent the night with O’Donnell’s character Mary — only to find out that Mary was a nun. “So you deflowered the virgin Mary?” Carrie quipped to her friend afterward.

Speaking to Us Weekly exclusively about her AJLT appearance, O’Donnell revealed in April that she didn’t connect with SATC at first. “I will say that as a lesbian woman, it didn’t speak to me in the way it spoke to all my straight friends … but I loved it, and I watched it. I loved the women’s performances and the friendships that they had,” she explained. “But, you know, it wasn’t, like, The L Word for me because I’m a big L, that’s why.”

And Just Like That airs on Max Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET.
