Anna Camp has given her stamp of approval to a fan’s artwork that depicted herself and Jade Whipkey.

Taking to her Instagram Story on Thursday, June 26, the Pitch Perfect star, 42, commented on the artwork, which showed the couple as smiling cartoon characters holding hands.

“Ok this is adorable,” Camp wrote via her Instagram Story. The original artist captioned the image, “Love them so much! This one is for the lovely @jadewhipkey and @therealannacamp 🏳️‍🌈🩷🥰 There is definitely more to come! Also welcome, Jade🥺✨ Sending hugs and love to you two! // #annacamp #jadewhipkey.”

Camp and Whipkey first stepped out together as a couple at the Bride Hard premiere on June 18.

“You are the easiest person to celebrate and the sweetest to love ❤️ See you on the cover of @voguemagazine next #mermaids,” Whipkey captioned a series of Instagram photos from the event.

Since then, the pair has received backlash due their controversial 18-year age gap. (Camp is 42, while Whipkey is 24.)

The actress responded to the controversy last week when she addressed the talk about age disparity between herself and the stylist.

“I’ve dated men exactly my age and Jade is FAR more mature than any of them,” Camp wrote via an Instagram comment on June 20. “We have more in common than anyone else I’ve ever dated and can literally talk about anything and everything ♥️.”

In a February TikTok video, Camp confirmed she was dating Whipkey after prior relationships with men, including marriages to Michael Mosley from 2010 to 2013 and her Pitch Perfect costar Skylar Astin from 2016 to 2019.

After she was asked about her worst dating experiences and expectations of men by a content creator via the video, Camp touched on her new relationship.

“Well, I don’t expect anything anymore because I like women and it’s great,” Camp said at the time. “I left a date once because a guy was, like, 45 minutes late, and I stayed and waited. Then he said that I was prettier in a movie than I was in person, because I’m an actor, and I was like, ‘OK, bye.’”

Camp was also asked about life’s biggest conspiracies in another video from the same interview series.

“That in order to be happy you have to be married to a guy, with children, at like 30 or something,” she responded. “That’s a conspiracy. That’s not true. I grew up in the south and people told me that I basically had to do that.”
