A woman turned to Reddit to question whether she was in the wrong or not for asking her adult brother to take off his embarrassing hat at her son’s little league baseball game.

The concerned sister posted in the infamous r/AmItheA–hole subreddit writing: “So my 30 year old brother shows up to my son’s 12 year old little league game with a trucker’s hat [that] says ‘America F@ck Yeah.’”

“I asked him to take it off since there were kids all over and lots of people there I know. He protested and I said it was embarrassing. He left and walked back to the car. I said ‘It’s the hat, not you.’AITA or should a grown man know better than to wear that to a family friendly place?”

Well, Reddit users didn’t hold back from sharing their thoughts in the thread of the post — which mostly sided with the original poster.

“NTA it was inappropriate. He needs to grow up.”

“NAH. It’s more on the line than over in either way. You asked, he complied, I wouldn’t worry about it.”

“You asked, he left instead. It was a reasonable request.”

This adult brother isn’t the only one who wore something inappropriate and didn’t see anything wrong with it.

A woman shared on TikTok that her co-worker didn’t consider her outfit “office appropriate” — as a result, the confused employee got slammed online for many agreeing that she wore too casual a fit.

Alejandra Carreño’s controversial outfit consisted of a black long-sleeved top, heeled shoes and jean shorts.

“Are my shorts inappropriate for work? Asking because someone complained about them,” she wrote in her video that garnered 11 million views.

In an interview with People, Carreño said that her outfit of choice was brought up in a meeting by her manager the day that she wore it.

“Oh, before I forget, I do have to tell you that someone mentioned a complaint about your shorts. Short shorts aren’t allowed,” Carreño recalled her manager saying to her in the interview.

“To me, they seemed fine. I didn’t see anything wrong with them. I think you look nice, but unfortunately, I do need to let you know we can’t wear short shorts or short skirts,” her manager continued.

And people in the comments of the employee’s TikTok clip agreed that the denim short outfit wasn’t right for the workplace.

“As an HR Manager… if you’re in corporate America i cannot think of an instance where shorts are appropriate.”

“Shorts should never be in an office.”
