The Real Housewives of New York City alum Bethenny Frankel apparently is feuding with Maya Thompson, whose late son inspired Taylor Swift’s “Ronan,” according to pal Charisma Carpenter.

“I know this is a year later, [but in] September 2023, Maya was blocked by Bethenny Frankel and the reason why is, according to Maya, she was blocked because she was probably defending Taylor Swift from the horrible things that Bethenny was saying [about Taylor’s love life],” Carpenter, 54, claimed in a recent TikTok video. “As if Taylor needs to modify her life to accommodate a man ever. That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard in my life.”

The Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum added, “Don’t come for Taylor Swift — and don’t come for Maya Thompson. So, Bethenny, not that you care, I’m just saying don’t let me find you on the [New York City] streets.”

Carpenter tagged both Thompson and Swift, 34, in her caption. She also wrote, “It’s a beef too good for Taylor, but protect the queen at all costs.”

Frankel, 53, has not addressed the accusations. Us Weekly has reached out for comment.

Frankel had previously been outspoken about Swift and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. In a February social media video, the Bravo alum theorized that Kelce’s “peacock” personality would cause a problem in their relationship.

“I literally think he’s a peacock and there are two peacocks in this relationship and it usually doesn’t work. I’m allowed to think that,” Frankel claimed at the time. “I don’t have to think they’re getting married and spending their lives together. I hope that they do if that’s what they want.”

Frankel later denied that she was coming for the 35-year-old NFL star but still stood by her remarks in a follow-up post, arguing, “I stand by that. I think that’s who Travis is.”

Thompson, for her part, is a frequent defender of Swift though it is not known if she was involved in the recent bad blood. Thompson and Swift first connected in 2011 after the pop star read Thompson’s “Rockstar Ronan” blog about her toddler son’s cancer battle. Ronan died that year at age 4, inspiring Swift’s song “Ronan.”

“In my opinion, one of the bravest things that a human being could ever do is to go through something absolutely unbearable and then share their experience with the world. And I think the braver you are, the more brutally honest you are,” Swift said during a 2017 performance of the song. “There’s a woman here tonight named Maya Thompson and she has lived in this area and brought her kids up in this area. And I wouldn’t know half as much as I know about childhood cancer and childhood cancer research if she hadn’t shared her story about her son Ronan.”

Swift explained at the time that she read Thompson’s blog “every night,” noting that cancer has since “hit really close to [her].” (Swift’s mom, Andrea, previously battled breast cancer and has since been in remission.)

While Swift has famously not played “Ronan” in the years since out of respect for Thompson, she has invited her to multiple Eras Tour shows. Thomas and Carpenter also attended one of the London concerts in August together.

“Last week, I was in London with [Charisma Carpenter] for something she was working on. The next thing I knew, we were in the Royal Suite at Wembley Stadium to watch the masterpiece that is the Eras Tour,” Thompson wrote via X on August 24. “We were treated like royalty (literally). I am still trying to process what happened, the words said, and how I spent the evening dancing next to [Florence Welch].”
