Britney Spears is taking a trip down memory lane while recalling shooting a Vogue cover with Ashley Benson.

In a Saturday, September 13, Instagram post, Spears, 43, shared an image of her smiling in a pink dress and ballet shoes with ankle straps while placing her arms around two dancers — one of which was Benson, now 35.

“Yes I used to teach dance … I’m itching to teach again !!! 🌹🌹🌹,” Spears captioned the upload, tagging Herb Ritts as the photographer.

Benson, for her part, reshared the picture via her Instagram Story on Saturday.

“I remember this day. I was 11 years old and I was so excited to shoot with Britney and Herb Ritts,” she wrote.

“When I got the call that I would be shooting a September Vogue cover with @britneyspears and Herb Ritts I was beyond thrilled,” Benson continued via Instagram. “I was 11 years old and the biggest Britney fan. My mom and I drove up to LA and spent all day with her. She was incredibly nice and sweet and that had made my entire year. What a fun throwback.”

Several celebrities were quick to weigh in in the comments section of her post. “This is wild,” Vanessa Hudgens wrote, while Shay Mitchell added, “Wow.” Paris Hilton also commented, “😍.”

After posing for the cover, Benson went on to star in 2012’s Spring Breakers alongside Hudgens, now 36, Selena Gomez and Rachel Korine — and revealed at the time that the cast enjoyed listening to Spears’ music. (The film follows the four college best friends finding themselves in jail after robbing a restaurant to fund their vacation plans, with a drug dealer — played by James Franco — ultimately bailing them out.)

“The thing is we didn’t really have time to do anything,” Benson told Glamour in 2013 when asked about whether the cast had any traveling traditions. “We were in a different city every day, so we’d get there, do press all day, do the premiere, sleep, get up early in the morning, get on a plane.”

She continued, “Throughout Europe, we flew private, so that was our time to have fun. All we would do is play Britney Spears and run up and down the hallway. It was just us four girls and then all guys — the producers on the movie and Harmony. We were just going nuts in the back, and it was so much fun.”
