Below Deck‘s Solène Favreau ended the charter season by exploring a connection with Damo Yorg and sleeping with Kyle Stillie before her Love Island return.
During the season finale, which aired on Monday, September 15, Solène kept flirting with Kyle, but on their last night out, she got closer to Damo. Solène and Damo made out, which upset Kyle enough that he went to his cabin. But the moment didn’t last long because moments later Solène was texting Kyle to meet her in a guest cabin — where they ultimately had sex.
Solène and Kyle parted ways after having a rocky season. They initially formed a connection and even went on a date where Solène revealed she was still getting over an ex — and Below Deck alum — Dylan Pierre De Villiers.
“We broke up because he was in another country, so [there was] distance. Even after, I still love him and I was very sad,” she told cameras in a June episode. “So now that is why I try to keep everything at no risk. Since Dylan, I’ve never been in love again. I am young, free and I’m not looking for a relationship.”
Solène said there were “two times” she was in love. “It is the best and the worst. That’s why it is love,” she added. “My first love experience was when I was 22 years old. He left me four times in two years. All that time I was falling in love deeper and deeper. All that time was getting worse and worse.”
The stew shared that her parents had to step in after the breakup.
“My dad took me to the emergency room because I was so sad that I stopped eating,” she noted. “I couldn’t eat. I would prefer that someone broke my finger than break my heart.”
Solène learned to be “the opposite of selfish,” adding, “Now I live for me.”
Later in the season, Solène moved on to exploring her chemistry with Jess Theron despite the deckhand’s possible romance with Barbara Kulaif. Solène and Jess got close but it fizzled out — at least while cameras were still rolling.
“I went to Jess’ hotel room, because we were supposedly together, and we had a fight because, in my mind, they still had a thing. I wasn’t wrong, by the way,” Barbara shared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen earlier this month about how they were still at a hotel on Sint Maarten after disembarking St. David. “Jess just opened the door and she left with Solène — and Solène was naked.”
Barbara elaborated on her current friendship with Solène, adding, “I think nobody’s surprised. We keep in touch. I think she really thinks we are still good friends — and maybe we are good friends — but friends I would never bring home to parents. … [Jess and Solène] both need to grow up together.”
Solène’s reality TV journey isn’t over yet following that dramatic season of Below Deck. She’s set to star in season 2 of Love Island Games following her past appearance on Love Island France.
Below Deck is currently streaming on Peacock.
