Bizarre video appears to show cops in Maryland struggling to subdue a large man whose pants and underwear fall down as he’s detained outside a church.
Cell phone footage purportedly shows the human giant, wearing a dirty T-shirt with dark pants, sneakers, and matted dark hair and beard, fighting off multiple officers.
Suddenly, the unidentified suspect’s pants and underwear fall, leaving him naked from the waist down.
As the person in the car filming the surreal scene drives past, the half-naked man is seen standing against a police car as a female officer tases him.
The video was reportedly filmed in the Maryland suburb of Clarksburg, Montgomery County, northwest of DC.
Many quickly compared the suspect to Hagrid, the giant from Harry Potter, played by the late Scottish actor Robbie Coltrane in the movies.
“Did the real life Hagrid just spawn?! Damn bro says not today,” one X user wrote.
“Which part of Harry Potter is that? Our guess it’s The Prisoner of Asskaban,” joked another.
The video is yet to be independently verified.
Montgomery County Police Department was approached for comment and said they would provide more information on the arrest.
