As get get going, we are now in Week 8 of the new NFL season. This year has gone by fairly quickly and the games are starting to magnify with each passing week.

Teams have started to solidify themselves into their respective roles and the playoff picture has started to take shape. With each week, we see big upsets and strong performances from the special players in the league.

But who will put on the best showing this week? Lucky for you, Newsweek Sports has you covered.

Here are the five biggest bold predictions for Week 8 of the NFL season.

5. Bryce Young leads Panthers to road win over Broncos

Young will be under center for this game after Andy Dalton was in a car accident. It will be his first since he was benched and will be a chance for him to show Carolina what he can do. He will take full advantage of this game and lead the Panthers to a big win. If he looks even decent, it could spell another opportunity for him to reclaim his starter spot.

4. Justin Herbert throws for over 300 yards for second straight game

It has been a bit of a struggle this season for Herbert but he will have another solid game this week. He is playing against the New Orleans Saints, who have been reeling over the last few contests. This Chargers passing game seemed to find a roll last week against the Arizona Cardinals and they will continue it here. Herbert throws for over 300 yards again and leads his team to another big win at home.

3. Falcons limit Buccaneers to just 200 yards of total offense

With both star wide receivers out, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers could be in for a long game. They will have to rely on others to step up and the Falcons defense has been good this season. Atlanta will use this to their advantage and make life tough for Baker Mayfield throughout the contest. It will be a long day for Tampa Bay and they will drop another home game.

2. Jameis Winston leads Browns to upset of Ravens

This season has been a disaster for the Browns as they currently sit at 1-6 for the year. They have struggled offensively throughout but there is still some hope as Jameis Winston will be taking over under center after starting quarterback Deshaun Watson suffered a season-ending injury. The former No. 1 overall pick could potentially provide Cleveland with a spark on offense which could be all they need. He will do just enough and let the defense hold down Baltimore to reach a massive upset win at home.

1. Jayden Daniels, Caleb Williams light up the scoreboard

This is assuming that Daniels plays as he is listed as questionable for the game. If he suits up, it will be a battle between the top two picks from the NFL Draft this year. Both players will want to make a statement, leading to a high-scoring affair. This could be the game of the day if Daniels can give it a go.
