Bosch Power Tools isn’t easing into 2026. Instead it’s stacking the shelves. The company just announced 39 new tools and accessories for its North American lineup, touching everything from cordless nailers and angle grinders to rotary lasers, multimeters, and specialty cutting accessories. The breadth of this drop is pretty damn wide, too: it’s not a single category refresh but a coordinated push across power tools, measuring equipment, and trade-specific accessories all at once.
The release also marks the first wave of products carrying the new EXPERT designation, which Bosch introduced as a high-output 18V platform branding in early 2026, applied to both corded and cordless tools.
The implication is clear enough: more is coming, in phases, and this batch is just the beginning.
“Building on our strong pipeline of innovation, this latest introduction delivers both cordless and corded solutions that bring advanced power and precision to the jobsite,” said Philipp Gosau, Director of Product Management for Bosch Power Tools North America. “These new products reflect direct feedback from tradespeople, helping improve efficiency, accuracy and confidence across a wide range of applications.”
What’s Actually in the Box
The power tool highlights span several trades. The EXPERT 18V framing nailers – available in both 21- and 30-degree configurations – use an air-spring system rather than a compressor or fuel cell, with a Schrader valve that lets workers top off pressure at up to 117 PSI directly on the jobsite. Bump fire mode delivers up to three nails per second, which puts it firmly in the “keep up with framing crews” category. The EXPERT 18V 6-inch random orbit sander runs a 3/16-inch orbit with a 5,000–10,000 rpm range, a HEPA-filtered dust canister, and a self-cleaning mechanism. I’m currently in the middle of a renovation of my lounge, and trust me, this is the kind of dust management that actually matters when you’re finishing interiors all day.
On the corded side, the EXPERT 12-inch dual-bevel glide miter saw features Bosch’s patented compact glide system, a shadow LED cutline indicator, and a 13-7/16-inch horizontal cutting capacity. The 18V angle grinders – available with either a slide switch or a no-lock-on paddle – offer six speed settings with kickback control, soft start, and an anti-vibration side handle. These aren’t headline-grabbing specs, but they’re exactly what a professional running those tools all day actually cares about.
The measuring tool lineup is where Bosch leans into simplicity as a selling point. The new 18V green-beam rotary lasers – horizontal-only and horizontal/vertical variants – can run on either the 18V battery platform or standard C batteries, with the horizontal/vertical model (GRL18V-34K and GRL18V-34P) reaching a working range of up to 1,500 feet at ±1/16-inch accuracy at 100 feet in horizontal mode. A bi-color LED display reads green for level, red for slope. The new True RMS digital multimeter and 600A clamp meter are both rated for IP54 or better, with rubber-reinforced housings and high-contrast displays. The non-contact voltage tester covers 24 to 1,000V AC with an IP67 rating and a continuous self-test function that checks the tool’s own operation during use. This is a small detail that saves a lot of frustration mid-job (again, trust me).
The accessory that stands out most for specialty trades is the GGC2550 threaded rod cutter 2-pack. It handles quarter-inch, three-eighths-inch, and half-inch cuts in steel, plus quarter- and three-eighths-inch cuts in stainless, which covers the bulk of what electricians, plumbers, and HVAC technicians actually encounter on commercial and residential installs. Threaded rod work is one of those tasks that gets done with whatever’s closest, usually a reciprocating saw or an angle grinder, neither of which leaves a clean thread. A purpose-built cutter set addresses that.
Bosch’s EXPERT 18V platform was built on the existing trusted 18V system, engineered with next-generation cell technology and more durable housing to deliver high power, extended runtime, and jobsite-ready durability.
That compatibility piece is important for any trade crew that’s already bought into the Bosch ecosystem. New EXPERT tools slot right in without forcing a battery swap. Thirty-nine new products released at once is a significant volume bet, and the phased rollout language proves that Bosch views this as a platform expansion, not just a product refresh. The tools that show up on jobsites in the next twelve months will confirm whether the performance matches the positioning.
