Now that Tina Knowles has revealed that she’s a fan of Ginny & Georgia, Brianne Howey would like to find a role for her in season 4.

“I freaked out about Tina’s whole entire family [watching the show],” Howey, 36, exclusively told Us Weekly while promoting her partnership with Shutterfly about how she found out that Beyoncé’s mother, 71, enjoyed the show. “I couldn’t contain myself.”

Howey, who plays Georgia on the Netflix series, said it is “always surprising” when celebrities show support for Ginny & Georgia. “Leslie Bibb is a fan of the show and I just binged The White Lotus,” she added. “So I was elated to hear that.”

As Howey currently films season 4, she didn’t rule out possible cameos.

“That’s what’s so fun about this show. Truly the possibilities are endless,” she noted. “I have to hand it to our writers and our creator where they created a whole new genre where anything goes and it still feels very earned and justified.”

Howey continued: “Is it too much of an ask to see if Tina Knowles wants to come on the show? I’m ready. Maybe she’ll let me do her hair.”

Ginny & Georgia, which premiered in 2021, follows a young single mother who moves her family to a new place after running away from her past. The Netflix series stars Howey, Antonia Gentry, La Torraca, Felix Mallard, Sara Waisglass, Scott Porter and Raymond Ablack.

“The ending for season 3, I was pretty shocked. [Now] reading every episode, the writers blow me away. I’m so grateful to be part of this incredible storytelling,” Howey teased to Us about where the story goes after Georgia’s surprise pregnancy. “The ending for season 3 couldn’t set us up more perfectly for where season 4 is.”

Howey had high hopes for her character going into the next season.

“Georgia probably needs to mend her soul a little bit after 3. So those were my hopes [for season 4],” she teased. “In a dream world, I would like Georgia to be on the right side of history with her children. I really want her to do right by them, rectify as much as possible and show that it’s possible to change.”

She continued: “It’s a dream come true [working on the show]. I’ve never been in the position of getting to be a part of a season 4 before. It’s an enormous privilege and it’s not something that we take lightly. I think I can speak for the whole cast when I say when we see those [viewership numbers] come out, it motivates us to ensure that our next season is also hitting all of the same spots and is as fulfilling. So everyone’s working really hard and is so excited and really kind of just riding the high from the positive feedback.”

Howey is also gearing up for the holidays, which she is celebrating with husband Matt Ziering and their daughter. The actress credited Shutterfly for making this year easier when it comes to finding the perfect gift.

“I truly wouldn’t be able to even manage gifting throughout the holiday season — while working — without something as simple as Shutterfly,” she told Us. “It’s probably the most authentic partnership there is for me. I will be using Shutterfly all holiday season anyway.”

Ginny & Georgia is currently streaming on Netflix.
