The maniac filmed charging Rep. Ilhan Omar to spray her with a syringe is a “piece of s–t” who’s had a twisted “hatred” for the Somali community for decades, according to his disgusted brother.

“I’m not surprised this happened,” Anthony Kazmierczak’s estranged brother, who did not wish to be identified, told the Independent over the phone from his home in North Carolina following the shocking attack at a public meeting in Minneapolis.

“Not at all. Unfortunately, he and my mother are both right-wing extremists.”

Kazmierczak, 55, is allegedly the man filmed running at Omar (D-Minn.) late Tuesday as she was at a town hall podium criticizing Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and calling for the abolishment of ICE.

He shouted something inaudible and then pulled out a syringe and sprayed Omar with a brown-colored liquid, sparking panic and fears it was dangerous. It was only later determined to be apple cider vinegar.

His brother is convinced he struck the Somali American lawmaker because of his deep-rooted bias against the community that has been accused of massive fraud in the state.

“He has had a hatred of the Somali community for probably 20 years,” Kazmierczak’s brother told the Independent.

“There’s a reason I don’t talk to him… He’s got a lot of anger, I have no idea where it comes from. He’s always been that way. In and out of treatment since he was a kid.”

Kazmierczak was grabbed by security and later arrested by Minneapolis Police Department officers and booked into Hennepin County Jail for third-degree assault.

Omar, who continued speaking after Kazmierczak was escorted out, later claimed the disturbing attack was motivated by anger over not enough Somalis being deported — and suggested President Trump is to blame for the assault.

“The man that attacked me was specifically upset that Trump’s order to deport Somalis was not yielding enough deportations of Somalis,” the lawmaker told reporters Wednesday.

“He wanted to come get the person he thought was protecting the Somalis.”

One of Kazmierczak’s neighbors told The Post he’d hinted in a cryptic text days earlier that he might end up leaving the event in handcuffs.

“He said, ‘I’m going to this Omar thing.’ I’m like, Omar what? He said, ‘This town hall thing.’ And he said, ‘I might get arrested,’” Brian Kelley told The Post.

“I didn’t take him seriously. I’m surprised, but not overly surprised,” the neighbor added. “I figured when he said he was going to go to the town hall, he’d stand up and say something stupid. I can’t imagine him assaulting or spraying somebody.”

Kelley described Kazmierczak as a “pretty conservative guy” who “doesn’t like Omar.”

Kazmierczak has been “heavily medicated” since a car wreck damaged his spine, Kelley said, and he has since been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
