Cade Cunningham and the Detroit Pistons did what they needed to do in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference semifinals and forced a Game 7, beating the Cleveland Cavaliers on the road in a staggering 115-94 victory.

The Pistons lost their first two road games against the Cavs, so coming back on Friday and forcing a Game 7 means something.

What made the difference is simple: Cunningham and the team’s second half blowout.

Cunningham is not going to let his team fall. At least, he’s doing what he can to make sure they succeed. Cunningham scored 21 points in the contest, and the Pistons dominated, especially in the second half of the game.

Jalen Duren notched 15 points and 11 rebounds in the showdown, and Daniss Jenkins scored 15. Duncan Robinson, who didn’t play in Game 5 due to a lower back injury, sunk four 3-pointers and scored 14 points, and Paul Reed had 17 points.

For the Cavs, James Harden scored 23 points, with Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley both scoring 18 each.

The Pistons went into the halftime with a lead and then kicked off the second half with a 14-4 run. Cleveland came back to bring the score closer towards the end, but the Pistons didn’t let it happen.
